KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (Bernama) -- Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) has distributed the total surplus of RM187,597 from the Claims Allocation Fund (CAF) for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, to charitable causes.

The surplus distribution, contributed from two Allianz4All Untuk Semua products – namely PerlindunganKu Allianz4All and Group Personal Accident Allianz4All, reflects Allianz General’s commitment to giving back to the community and making a positive impact.

“At Allianz General, our commitment to doing good for the society around us extends far beyond our products and services. We are proud to channel the Claims Allocation Fund surplus to organisations that make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable communities,” said Sean Wang, Chief Executive Officer of Allianz General.

“This effort is part of our ongoing dedication to building resilience, bridging protection gaps and empowering individuals and communities through meaningful support. Together with our policyholders, we are creating lasting positive change,” he added.

The surplus distribution is allocated to categories based on individual policyholders’ preferences provided at the point of sale of Allianz4All Untuk Semua products. Given that the majority of policyholders did not specify a particular preference, the CAF surplus has been allocated to the following charity categories and distributed to the social organisations as follows:

Education

·  Yayasan Chow Kit (RM54,000): A social organisation focusing on education and community development for vulnerable communities in Chow Kit.

Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

·  Persatuan Rumah dan Perkhidmatan Cheshire Sabah (RM25,000): A social organisation that strives to create an enabling environment for PWD to exercise their rights to lead a normal life.
·  Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor (RM25,000): A social organisation focusing on creating opportunities for PWD towards independence.
·  Persatuan Mobiliti Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur (RM33,000): A social organisation focusing on providing door-to-door services to wheelchair-bound users.

Relief Efforts

· Persatuan Bantuan Bencana Alam MISAR Malaysia (RM50,597): A social organisation focusing on relief efforts and safety.

The distribution of the surplus was coordinated by Allianz Malaysia’s dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility arm, which identifies and supports impactful charitable organisations.
